Ramtron FM1608 NVRAM – 28 Pin DIP (Replaces 6264, 6064, or 2064 RAM)

Avoid damage to your board!  Remove those batteries immediately before they leak all over your board!  This NVRAM will allow your game to run without batteries being installed.

***Williams System 11C (Chip Location U25):

* Not all WPCs are directly configured with 6264s. The WPC MPU can be rejumpered to use a 62256, and some games shipped with them.
To convert a WPC-89 MPU that is already set up with a 62256, you will need to add a resistor @ R93 (1.5k ohm), and remove jumper W3. Failure to do this may keep the MPU from booting once it is installed, but others have said not always necessary.  Your mileage may vary.

** Williams System 11B/11C have a 24 pin 6116 RAM hard soldered in from the factory at location U25, and need a 28 Pin socket installed.  To use a 6264 type NVRAM, you must also change the jumpers: W5 removed, and W6 installed.

***System 11 and System 11a CAN NOT be changed and ONLY support a 6116 style RAM, so this chip is not compatible with those machines.
